The Harvest Festival and Chagfarm AGM - Saturday 21 October 2017

Amidst the festivities, we will be holding an informal AGM in the Threshing Barn at 4pm. Please come along and join us for a glass of cider and a taste of some of our produce. We look forward to sharing the last year’s progress with you all and welcome your feedback, questions and ideas. See our Facebook event here for more information.

We are always looking for ways to improve our ordering system and share options to make them less confusing for members and us alike. We have come up with some ideas to replace the current system and would really appreciate your feedback. Please could you all fill in the questionnaire here and return it to your collection point, the farm or any of us before Thursday the 19th of October. Everyone who returns a completed form will be entered into a prize draw with a chance to win a fabulous Chagfarm Christmas hamper!

Learning and events on Chagfarm

Engaging people with the land and how food is produced is at the heart of what we do here at Chagfarm.

We have some lovely old barns which provide us with a sheltered space for running training courses and welcoming groups to the farm.

In addition to inviting school groups to the farm, we provide a range of adult learning courses as well as children’s activity days. Our aim is to enhance the public’s understanding of the land, engage people with how food is produced and how this can be done in a manner that is healthy for both us and the planet.

All of our members and long-term volunteers receive a 15% discount on course prices. If you’re interested in becoming a member, visit our Membership page.

Are you interested in having a goat milking experience?

We can arrange a goat milking experience for anyone who'd like to hand or machine milk one of our goats. This experience makes an excellent birthday or Christmas present. This will include a farm tour with one of our directors and refreshments. Days and timing: Mon to Saturday, 8.30am to 9.30am by arrangement. Cost: £40. Contact us on membership(at)chagfarm.org for more information and bookings.

Want to run a course, event or wedding reception at the farm?

We’re keen to provide a space where the local community can not only come to learn new skills but share their own skills with others.  If you’re interested in running a course or workshop with us please contact membership(at)chagfarm.org

We are also exploring the idea of hosting rustic weddings on the farm in the future. Please let us know if this is something of interest.
